Ian Bell and Andrew Flintoff were both passed fit on Wednesday to take their places in the team for the 3rd test at Edgbaston starting on Thursday. England also released Monty Panesar from the squad leaving them with just the 12.
All the signs are that they want to keep changes to a minimum so unless they have a dramatic change of mind on Thursday morning it would appear that Steve Harmison will also find himself making the drive back to his county.
