London Spirit Women vs Trent Rockets Women Betting Tips 29th July 2021
London Spirit Women were well beaten in their last outing, when they lost the big one to local rivals, Oval Invincibles by 15 runs.
In that match they struggled against the Invincibles’ pace attack, with only captain Heather Knight and Danielle Gibson.
Prior to that, Spirit survived a batting collapse to hold on for victory over Birmingham Phoenix. Danielle Gibson, again, was there at the end to steady their nerves and squeeze them over the line.
As for Trent Rockets, Nat Sciver’s team haven’t got going at all yet in this competition. Losing two from two.
Similar to London Spirit, the batting seems to be the biggest area of concern for the Rockets.
They have a decent middle order of Sciver, Katherine Brunt and Heather Graham. But they’re the only players scoring runs, and that’s not enough.
I expect this to be a close game, and given the frailties of both sides, I’m going to stick my neck on the line and say that Sciver and co will get some more help today and score their opening win of the campaign.
