Pakistan Vs South Africa 1st T20 Prediction 11/2/21

Pakistan go head to head with South Africa in the first of three T20 international matches. The two sides have just contested an enthralling Test series, won 2-0 by Pakistan.

It’s no major surprise in the cricket betting that the bookmakers make Pakistan favourites, despite personal changing for this series.

The South Africans on the whole haven’t adapted brilliantly to the Asian conditions. So the bookies are taking the position that not much will change, despite the different colour of ball.

The South Africans also have a largely inexperienced squad for the white ball leg of the tour, as they wanted to send their senior players home for a rest ahead of the (now postponed) series against Australia.

What I do believe will help the South Africans, is that by and large, limited overs matches these days are played on very different surfaces to Test matches. So I do believe the tourists will find this wicket much more to their liking.

The South Africans also have the fearless enthusiasm of youth on their side. But with youth, also comes vulnerability – which is steering me towards a home win in this match.

Pakistan have a near full strength side to pick from, and they also have Baber Azam back to lead the side after he missed the recent three match series in New Zealand – won 2-1 by the hosts.

Prediction – Pakistan to win @ 4/9 with Betfair
