Melbourne Renegades Vs Hobart Hurricanes Prediction 26/1/21

The Renegades have shown in their last few matches that they do have wins in them.

They are a young side with talent, and when the talent clicks and comes together, they are a match for anyone. The problem is, they’re too hit and miss at this stage of their development.

In the Hurricanes last match, they beat Sydney Sixers by 7 runs. In all fairness, it should have been a far more comfortable win for the Tasmanians.

Openers Matthew Wade and D’Arcy Short got them to 145 in the 15th Over before the first wicket fell. So to only get to 188/8 in their 20 Overs would have been very disappointing.

In the end it was enough for Hobart to win though, and keep their destiny in their own hands.

With a top 4 of Wade, Short, McDermott and Malan, it’s hard to see the Renegades having much joy.

That top 4 is as good as anything in the competition, and it they perform anywhere near their best, it will be yet another defeat for Melbourne.
