London Spirit Women vs Oval Invincibles Women Betting Tips 25th July 2021
This match is the first of a new domestic local rivalry, that organisers of The Hundred will be hoping takes off and becomes a fixture to savour for years to come yet.
Both of these teams won their respective opening matches, and will see this as a chance to steal a march on some of their rivals,
London Spirit beat Birmingham Phoenix by 3 wickets with 4 balls to spare on Friday night.
The Spirit looked good with the ball, restricting Phoenix to just 128/6 after they were 101/3 after 65 balls.
London Spirit were then cruising to their target, before an alarming batting collapse. Spirit went from 108/3, to 124/7. Eventually they stumbled over the line, making 132/7 from 96 balls.
As for the Oval Invincibles, they beat Manchester Originals by 5 wickets at the Oval on Wednedday.
They were making an almighty mess of chasing down Manchester Originals total of 135/6. The Invincibles were 12/3, and then 36/4, on their way to reaching their target.
Eventually a 56 not out from Dane van Niekerk helped the Invincibles to a 5 wickets win with 2 balls to spare.
Given the batting collapse from London Spirit in their opening match, I’m going for the Invincibles to win this one.
