SLK vs STKNP Betting Tips 15th September 2021
The outcomes of yesterday’s semi-finals ensure we will have a different winner of the CPL this season, after defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders were dumped out of the competition.
Set 206 to win by St Lucia Kings, Kieron Pollard’s Trinbago side could only manage 184 all out.
South African all-rounder David Wiese was the star of the show for the Kings. First he blasted 34 off 21 balls to help get the Kings to 205/4. Then he took 5 wickets with the ball in hand to help St Lucia to a 21 runs victory.
In the second semi-final, St Kitts and Nevis restricted Guyana Amazon Warriors to 178/9 in their 20 Overs.
Dwayne Bravo’s side made light work of the run chase, winning by 7 wickets with 13 balls to spare.
Evin Lewis led the way with 77not out off just 39 balls, in what was a convincing win for the Patriots.
So who will win the final between St Lucia and St Kitts? The bookmakers favour St Kitts, and I have to agree with them.
South African all-rounder David Wiese in red hot form. St Kitts also seem to have a more solid feel to their side, with contributions coming from all 11 players.
As we’ve seen in this CPL, all the sides are capable of beating each other, so caution is needed.
But my tip and who I think will win the CPL 2021 Final is St Kitts & Nevis Patriots.
