DC vs SRH Betting Tips 22nd September 2021
These are the final two sides in the IPL who are yet to play since the resumption of the competition.
Delhi Capitals were top of the league and in a good position when the IPL was postponed earlier in the year. While Sunrisers Hyderabad were rock bottom of the table, and rock bottom on confidence.
DC vs SRH Who Will Win
Hard to call with not form, but what we can look at it is the make up of the two sides, and arguably a clean slate in the case of form if nothing else.
Delhi Capitals have no Chris Woakes, but have replaced him with another over rated Aussie, sorry I meant Ben Dwarshuis.
Shreyas Iyer is back in the side, but not as captain. Rishabh Pant continue in that role. Could that create an issue with egos?
Pant also wasn’t in great form in England, and R Ashwin didn’t have a memorable tour either (through no fault of his own).
So it remains to be seen how they were fare when they get out on the pitch again.
The Sunrisers have lost Jonny Bairstow, but in all honesty I’m not sure that’s the worst thing. Wriddhiman Saha can open the batting and keep wicket, and he sometimes played ahead of Bairstow anyway.
The opening has meant the SRH have been able to add Sherfane Rutherford to the squad, and he could provide some more much needed runs from the middle order.
I’m not sure that SRH can be as bad as they were pre suspension, but I’m going to stick my neck out here for my betting tip, and back the Sunrisers to cause an upset.
