Cricket World Twenty20, Group D, Lord’s 17.30
Probally one to avoid in the betting as both teams are already safely into the Super Eight’s. The South African’s were ruthless in the way they dismissed Scotland – a trait that England could do worse than adopt.
A lot of money has and still is being staked on a South African World Twenty20 tournament victory and as I have stated in this blog the time seems right for Graeme Smith to claim his first International Trophy – the Aussies going out earlier might have hepled their cause as well, although from what I seen of Australia I think Sri Lanka will probally be a sterner test.
New Zealand have quietly gone about their business as usual and are a lot of peoples dark horses for the trophy, personally I still thing they lack that one World beating superstar.
Daniel Vettori isn’t expected to be risked in a game which has litle meaning and South Africa might also make one or two changes with maybe Justin Ontong or Robin Peterson getting a first 11 run out.
