The Hundred is an exciting new competition run by the ECB in England and Wales.
We will be bringing you free women’s cricket betting tips on all matches in this season’s The Hundred.
The equation is simple for the Northern Superchargers. A win here takes them into Friday’s Eliminator match at The Oval. If the Superchargers lose, Phoenix will leap-frog them and take third spot.
If the Superchargers are victorious today, it also confirms the top 3 and finishes off London Spirit’s slim chances of making the Eliminator match.
As for Birmingham Phoenix Women, a win puts them into third spot, and in with a massive chance of making the Eliminator match.
Their position in the top 3 would slightly depend on Wednesday’s match though.
Although highly unlikely, a massive win for London Spirit in the final group match could see them overtake the Phoenix on NRR.
It would take a huge swing in Net Run Rate though, and is extremely unlikely.
Northern Superchargers Women vs Birmingham Phoenix Women Betting Tips 17th August 2021
The Superchargers have lost their last three matches, two of them by substantial margins. Their early season form seems to have deserted them.
As for Birmingham, their form has picked up after a poor start to The Hundred. They had one win in their first five matches, but have since won their last two outings.
I still see this being a close match, but given the recent form of the two sides, I’m going with the Phoenix Ladies to win this one!
