It’s been a bit of a struggle for Birmingham Phoenix Women this season, with the side currently bottom of the table on just 2 points.
Today does represent a chance for Amy Jones’ team to register their second win and climb off the bottom of the table.
Welsh Fire Women have won two of their five fixtures to date. They sit 5th in the table, and with a 3 point gap between themselves and the top 4, they simply have to win today to have any chance of making the play-offs.
I think these two teams are both struggling though. I can see today’s match going the way of the Phoenix.
