DC vs KKR Betting Tips 13th October 2021
The penultimate match of the 2021 IPL sees groups winners Delhi Capitals taking on the ever improving Kolkata Knight Riders for a place in Friday’s final against CSK.
Delhi were beaten in the first qualifier on Sunday when MS Dhoni showed all his experience and took Tom Curran for the required 13 runs of the final over.
The win put CSK into the final, and the Capitals in this match.
As for Kolkata, they’ve gradually got better as the matches have gone on, and that was further highlighted when they beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in Monday’s Eliminator match.
Sunil Narine was the main difference between the two sides. His 26 with the bat, and 4 wickets with the ball, helped Eoin Morgan’s side complete a 4 wicket win over Virat Kholi’s RCB.
DC vs KKR Who Will Win
So onto who will win the second qualifier.
I thought that Delhi Capitals had spells in Sunday’s first qualifier when they could have gone on and won. Even at the start of the final over of the match, they were arguably the favourites.
In those key moments of the contest when the heat was on, Delhi failed to capitalise. Compare that to KKR who won the key moments against RCB, and you can see why Kolkata are the betting favourites to win this one.
I’m with the bookmakers here, and I think that Kolkata are the more likely to win.
So therefore Kolkata Knight Riders are my betting tip to win the second IPL qualifier.
