Congratulations to Leinster on winning the Heineken Cup against Northampton. What a final it was, the Irish Province got totally outplayed in the 1st 40 minutes, before totally outplaying Northampton in the 2nd half.
It was ridiculous at just how one sided both halves were, the poor fans at the wrong end of the ground must want their money back as they must of hardly seen a thing.
It was remarkable the way it took Leinster less than 17 minutes to make up the 22-6 half time deficit, it must go down as one of the greatest comebacks ever.
As for Northampton, they must be shell-shocked at what hit them at the start of the 2nd half. I wonder if they have ever played as good a 40 minutes of Rugby before, as they did in the 1st half, only to end up getting thrashed.
Irish bookie, Paddy Power paid out on Leinster winning last Thursay, at half time he was looking at the maximum publicity he would have gained from having to pay out on both teams.
Absolutely bloody stunning, wasn’t it?
I had this sneaking feeling during the week that the Saints pack could win it for them, and at half-time I was thinking I should have put some money on them (not that I ever bet).
Glad I didn’t now though!

It was the best sporting spectacle I’ve seen in a long time.
I had been watching the Test match between Windies and Pakistan before hand, it was that bad, that if it wasn’t for the Rugby I’d have turned my TV off.
That’s the pitfalls of gambling Brian, what looks a certainty can be smashed in an instant. Who could have predicted that 2nd half?
If I’d backed Saints, I’d have been counting my winnings at half time only to have got a nasty shock in the 2nd half.
