I heard that England needed a result this weekend, but such has been the crap Bangladeshi performances I didn’t see the need to get up at 3am to watch their game.
I was then delighted when I switched on my TV this morning to see that England only needed 1 wicket with Bangladesh needing over 200 runs.
A comprehensive English victory when we needed it most. It’s great too see an England team taking care of business themselves – no relying on other team’s results to get us through as we are England, we take care of business ourselves with pride.
