IPL 2021 Match 19 Highlights – CSK vs RCB – Ravindra Jadeja produced an IPL masterclass for his Chennai side, and in the process inflicted a first defeat of the campaign on RCB.
Jadeja produced the small amount of 62 runs (from 28 balls) with the bat, 3/13 with the ball, and just for good measure, ran out Dan Christian.
Included in the 62 not out, was a final over of 37 runs, 36 of which came of Jadeja’s bat. It was an astonishing assault on Harshal Patel – the unlucky bowler on the receiving end.
Not satisfied with that, Jadeja then took 3/13 from his 4 Overs. Included in his spell was a rare T20 maiden Over.
Ultimately, CSK’s 191/4 proved to be way too much for RCB. The last Over going for 37 really took the game away from RCB, and in the end they limply fell away when batting.
The result sees CSK go top of the table with 8 points from five matches. This was also RCB’s first defeat of the season.
Both sides sit on 8 points, alongside Delhi Capitals. CSK top the table on Net Run Rate, with RCB in third place.
