About

I started this blog in June 2009, it was supposed to be my views on betting on cricket, but it first turned into me mainly ranting about my frustrations with the England cricket team, before going on to become me giving my views on just about any sport I have an interest in.

I used to gamble a lot on international cricket, mainly Tests, and latterly have traded it on Betfair instead. I am an avid follower of Test cricket and international cricket in general. Maybe my preference of Test cricket is the Englishman showing in me as the English (and the Aussies) look to be the only fans who seem really interested in the Test format these days.

I have travelled abroad to watch England in the past, both in football and cricket. I also go to Edgbaston a couple of times a year to watch Warwickshire and England when they play there. These days though, I don't really have the time to go and watch sport, so I mainly get my fix of cricket through Sky Sports on TV and Test Match Special on the radio.

For my sins I am also a supporter of Coventry City FC, I used to watch the England football team (but not any more), and I also am a fan of Darts, Tennis, Golf and Rugby Union, and show an interest in plenty of other sports.

So don't be misled by the name, there is far more to this site than just betting on cricket. I hope readers will find the site informative and entertaining, if it is not doing it's job, or you want to tell me where I can improve it, then please feel free to let me know.

This site is open to offers from reputable advertisers and is also willing to offer exclusivity to any bookmaker wishing to work with me directly outside of the regular affiliate set up.
